YOUTH FIESTA'11

MITCON Institute of Management (MIMA), Pune celebrated the festival of youth ‘Youth Fiesta2011”. Youth Fiesta is a fun-filled inter-collegiate cultural fest celebrated every year. The competitions conducted at the fest range from activities like Chess and Tennis to Business Quiz, Street Play and Fashion Show.

The objective is to create a platform for the display of talent-pool which remains under cover many a time. The under-grad MBA aspirants are also invited to witness and partake in the events, so as to provide them with a glimpse of the life at a B-school.

This year’s event concluded with MITCON ACHIEVERS AWARD function in which a galaxy of achievers from industry and other sectors were honoured including Nb. Subedar Yogender Singh recipient of Paramveer Chakra; India’s highest gallantry award who was felicitated with the Life time Achievement award.

MITCON Institute of Management, every year organizes two, much talked about events– Reflections (annual inter-institutional summer project competition) and Youth Fiesta (four-day mega inter-institutional cultural event).

The ‘Youth Fiesta’ was held from 01 February to 04 February 2011 in the impressive campus of MITCON Institute of Management at Balewadi. More than 200 under graduate and graduate colleges and about 1200 students from Pune and Mumbai participated in the event.
