The 3rd convocation ceremony - UDAAN 2010 of MITCON Institute of Management (MIMA) for the batches 2007-2009 and 2008-2010 concluded on 21 August 2010 amid cheers with 480 students graduating from various verticals. The Convocation saw 120 PGDM (Biotechnology Management), 120 PGDM (Pharmaceutical Management), 120 PGDM (Agri-business Management) and 120 PGDM (Business Administration) students being awarded their respective graduating diplomas. The rich ceremony held at the institute auditorium had distinguished invitees from the industry and the academic community.
The Chief Guest at the Convocation was Mr. Pramod Sardarjoshi, Executive Director, IDBI delivered the convocation address. Also present on this occasion was the Chairman of MITCON Consultancy & Engineering Services Ltd. and ex- Executive Director, ICICI, Mr. Anand T. Kusre who presided over the ceremony as the Guest of Honour. During the Convocation ceremony awards were given out to deserving students as an appreciation of their hard work and contribution towards achieving their goal. The first and the second rank holders from each vertical were awarded gold medals. 16 gold medals were conferred on the graduating students at the function. 'Student of year' from batches 2007-2009 and 2008-2010 was awarded the silver medal.
