In pursuit of excellence, we, at MITCON, believe beyond academics - more precisely on the overall development of our students alongside domain knowledge. The most critical challenges faced by the future managers are those of soft skills such as communication with customers, subordinates, supervisors, leading a team or part of a team, presentation skills, personality etc.
MITCON has been perceptive on these aspects and hence a series of personal growth interventions are provided for students.
Unique to its kind,
MITCON is pleased to place on record that, in association with Ecole Solitaire, of the eminent soft skill
scholar Mr. Minocher Patel, a special development programme was arranged with a sole objective of imparting value addition in spheres like:
- Confidence building
- Self awareness and analysis
- Positive thinking and motivation
- Effective verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Active listening
- Interpersonal effective communication
- The power of strokes
- Art of effective self presentation
- Effective time management
- Art of successful living
Besides, MITCON remains focused on appropriate placements of students with reputed concerns and as such, special methods are used through well known trainers to prepare the final year students to take up the challenges like group discussions, effective personal interviews, precise and impressive presentations and the like.
Moreover, a continuous and ongoing process is in place at MITCON to assist students to take on the selection process in campus interview as per the needs of the potential employers.
All these personality development programmes are imparted in a group of 30 students by work-shop mode, simulation techniques or role playing methods The periodic reviews and assessments are carried out by taking into account the feedback.
The entire aim of these specially designed programmes for students is on sharpening analytical and decision making skills, to bring the best out of them, enhancing competency and preparing students to take on work-related challenges and to prove themselves successful business managers.
