Action against Ragging
Ragging in any form (Teasing, abuse, physical torture etc.) within or outside institute is strictly prohibited and punishable according to the Government of Maharashtra's Anti ragging Act 1999. The punishment is to the extent of two years rigorous imprisonment and/ fine of Rs.10,000/- apart from expulsion from the institution.
Drug / Alcohol Policy
students are expected to abstain from drugs and alcohol during their stay at the institute and hostel. Violation of this policy will lead to cancellation of admission.
The Students of MIMA
are required to maintain a minimum of 85% attendance per semester.
All students are expected to observe decorum to enhance the image of the institute and hence, follow the college dress code. Students are expected to wear formal attire (shirt & trouser for gents, sari / salwar kameez / western formals for ladies) throughout the week. On the occasion of guest lectures, seminars, etc. students are to be dressed in the uniform (blazers, tie, shirt, trouser) standardized by MIMA
. Students should always wear their valid Institute Identity card whenever in the institute or while representing the college at any other place. Further, it should be produced whenever demanded by any of the college staff.
The boys and girls hostels have set of rules which have to be adhered to strictly by the students. Each hostel is headed by a warden who acts as a facilitator and observer to maintain the discipline in the hostels and ensure its smooth functioning. Students opting to stay in the hostel will have to sign an undertaking in accepting the rules set by the management.
